Catania, Rome – Under EU Aid Volunteers initiative, Zsuzsanna BACZKÓ Hungarian Baptist Aid's program coordinator visited Italian organisations to provide technical assistance.
HBAid’s worker, alongside with Sara ALVES representative of GVC partner organisation, visited Italian organizations that have significant experiences within the employment of volunteers. Previously, members of the consortium chose 16 European organisations, including the Sicilian-based Arci Catania and Gondwana in Rome, that are already engaged in humanitarian and social activities that fitt to the program’s profile. The visit included a detailed questionnaire that helped evaluating if the organisations were meeting the initiative’s criteria. Through personal discussions, areas were explored to be further improved. The organisations will decide whether they will become a partner of ECHO.
